DRFSC provides scheduled inspection, testing and maintenance of fire pump installations across residential, commercial, and industrial buildings to help ensure systems remain reliable and ready for operation. Servicing is carried out in accordance with the relevant inspection and maintenance requirements, with all accessible components inspected and tested where applicable. Our engineers verify pump operation, automatic start functions, system pressures, and the condition of associated equipment while identifying any signs of deterioration or defects that may affect performance. Where diesel standby pumps are installed, servicing also includes inspection of the engine and supporting systems to help confirm readiness in the event of mains power loss.

Testing Records & Ongoing Assurance
Performance testing plays an important role in understanding the condition and ongoing reliability of fire pump installations. Where applicable, DRFSC carries out flow and performance testing to help confirm that pumps continue to operate within expected parameters and to identify any deterioration over time. Test results are recorded and reviewed against available system information and historical records where available, allowing trends or significant changes in performance to be identified and investigated. Where concerns are identified, we provide clear findings together with practical recommendations for any further investigation or remedial works. Following each visit, service and test documentation is provided to support ongoing maintenance records and help building managers demonstrate that fire pump installations continue to receive structured inspection and servicing.
